Whether it was the Twitter segment on ABC Nightline last month, or Jon Stewart's hilarious coverage earlier this month, one thing is clear -- everyone is talking about Twitter. But who is actually talking ON Twitter, and what do they have to say?
My experience with Twitter has been two-fold: For Friends With Class it has been amazing the people I have connected with via this medium (national reporters, amazing local entrepreneurs) and through my role as VP for an e-Government firm I was surprised at a Government Technology conference in Austin when the topic of the day for cities, counties and public agencies was.... Twitter and Web 2.0
CAN'T WAIT for the Twitter class this Saturday with SEO expert Anita Cohen Williams. I'll post some photos and blog about it to let you know how it went. Or better yet -- see you there and we can Tweet about it together :)

THE TIP: Getting a good Tweet name is like how getting the right URL was at the benning of the Internet... my suggestion is to just establish your accountnow to get your name or company name established and then you'll build usage from there. And ofcourse, be sure to follow us: @FriendsWClass

Are you going to cover how Twitter interfaces with other web 2.0 tools during your class? facebook, digg, youtube etc??
I'll check with Anita and have her post here -- that's one of the main things I hope to learn in class: how to make one update in one system and have it update in all of my "networks" or "outlets"...
I will be talking about how to automate your tweets, and the Facebook application for Twitter.
